The Bennington Minutemen is a youth football program for students Kindergarden through 6th grade who live in the Bennington Area (Bennington, Shaftsbury, North Bennington, Pownal, Woodford).  We represent Bennington in the Empire Division of the Northeast Youth Football League, playing against top competition from Eastern New York and Southern Vermont.  

-  K-2nd grade participates in the Flag program

-  3rd/4th grade Junior Tackle Program

-  5th/6th grade Senior Tackle Program

Football is the ultimate team sport and teaches intrinsic life lessons that challenges kids to grow mentally and physically.  We provide kids the opportunity to learn and experience the benefits of hard work, discipline, sportmanship and teamwork in a challenging and competitive environment.

The Bennington Minutemen is an independent, self funded organization.  We do not receive public funds and are not affiliated with any educational group, public or private.  We are made up of 100% volunteers and our goal is to provide our youth with a quality football experience that creates better people first and football players second.
